Responsibilities

  • Provide Remote Technical Assistance: Act as a primary contact for customers and BHS technicians needing help with mechanical and technical issues
  • Manage Service Requests: Handle service notifications by creating, updating, and closing tickets in our system. Keep customers informed throughout the troubleshooting process and follow up to ensure their needs are fully met
  • Technical Documentation and Research: Help customers locate the right technical documents, such as operating manuals, drawings, and schematics. Assist in researching part numbers, schematic changes, and programming updates as needed
  • Develop Expertise: Continuously enhance your knowledge of BHS machinery, software, and new technologies. Engage in training programs, network with colleagues, and participate in field training to stay current on best practices
  • Be Flexible and Available: Provide support during standard hours and be available for extended hours or after-hours support on a rotating basis. Be ready to travel to customer sites occasionally to assist with service and improvement projects
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects as assigned by your leadership team to drive service excellence and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SAP and other specialized applications is a plus
  • An associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Ability to read and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, mechanical drawings, and operational manuals
  • Experience with corrugator equipment or similar manufacturing machinery is highly desired
  • Must be able to obtain a valid passport and driver’s license
  • Comfortable working long hours at a computer, up to 10 hours a day
