Requirements

  • Enrolled in or Completed B.S, M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related Engineering specialty, or any similar field with an emphasis on Dynamic Systems and Control
  • Passion to have hands-on experience in robot manipulator kinematics, dynamics, feedback control, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced start-up with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently, and the determination to get through challenging problems
  • Experience with rapid prototyping algorithms in Python

Responsibilities

  • Perform debugging and root cause analysis for complex SW and HW integration problems
  • System testing, data collection, parsing, and analysis for complex robotic systems
  • Understand controls and robotics algorithm implementations
  • Design test fixtures and characterization setups that would highlight the system's performance
  • Perform system testing, data collection, parsing, and analysis for complex robotic systems

About The Team:

Noah Medical is looking for a Mechatronics Intern to join a small and agile team of ambitious engineers solving some of the hardest challenges in medical technology today to enable the next generation of robotically assisted medical interventions. The intern will be working closely with robotics team members in developing software for the testing of robotic units. A successful candidate would propose design solutions that adhere to specifications, challenge assumptions, and demonstrate independence as they contribute software within multiple platforms. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys and thrives working in a small start-up team on exciting engineering projects and is ambitious, self-motivated, curious, and passionate about revolutionizing the world of medical robotics.

A Day In The Life Of Our Mechatronics - Robotics and Controls Intern:

Pay Transparency

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position’s total compensation package.

California Pay Range

$24—$28 USD

Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
