Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of hands-on media buying experience, with expertise in media fundamentals such as reach/frequency, consumer/market research, plan development, and analytics
- Proficiency with media tools and platforms, including Advantage, Nielsen, Comscore, and Strata
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and insights effectively to internal teams and clients
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to negotiate competitive rates and secure added value while fostering strong vendor relationships
- Demonstrated ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and connect results to client business goals
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with experience mentoring and training team members
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute media buying strategies aligned with client marketing objectives
- Plan and manage tactical media campaigns across various channels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Interpret and apply measurement strategies provided by the Client Strategy team to evaluate media performance
- Set up campaigns to meet measurement objectives and demonstrate clear links to business outcomes
- Negotiate competitive media rates and secure value-added opportunities to maximize ROI for clients
- Deliver superior outcomes in terms of exposure and effectiveness, beyond cost savings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors to foster partnerships and explore innovative opportunities
- Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and platforms to enhance client campaigns
- Analyze campaign metrics and provide actionable insights to internal teams and clients
- Prepare and present post-buy analyses, highlighting key outcomes and lessons learned
- Work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure alignment on tactical strategies, ad specifications, and campaign requirements
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams
