Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist/Sribe (At least 3 years of experience)
- Excellent typing skills and knowledge of medical terminologies
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to transcribe medical dictations into written reports
- Good communication and listening skills
- Proficient in using transcription software and equipment
- Familiarity with medical transcription guidelines and formatting
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings of medical dictations of physicians/providers
- Transcribe the dictations into written reports
- Record patient interactions and encounters in real-time during consultations
- Document patient history, symptoms, physical exam findings, and provider assessments as they occur
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the transcribed reports
- Follow medical transcription guidelines and formatting requirements
- Manage workload and meet deadlines
- Review and edit transcribed reports as necessary
- Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify dictations and ensure accuracy
