Medical Writing Manager

Requirements

• Typically requires a university degree and typically 8 years of related experience; 6 years and a Master’s degree; 3 years and a PhD; or PharmD/MD
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills within Oncology and/or Diagnostics field
• Strong understanding of scientific research methodologies and clinical trial processes
• Proficiency in literature search databases and reference management software
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Understanding of journal requirements for publications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience in diagnostics or oncology research
• Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Experience with medical writing software and tools

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and review scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, presentations, and other documents for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentation at scientific conferences
• Conduct thorough literature reviews to support the development of research projects and clinical studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members including, MSLs, researchers, clinicians, statisticians, external authors, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and clarity of scientific content
• Ensure all documents comply with regulatory guidelines, ethical standards, and company policies
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines
• Participate in quality control and review processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all written materials

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $157,800 to $213,030
