Summary

Join TimelyCare as a part-time TalkNow Provider and provide 24/7, 365 on-demand telehealth services to higher education students and faculty. You will act as a primary source of emotional support, offering crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support via phone, video, or chat. You will also develop care plans, conduct risk assessments, and document sessions in the electronic health record (EHR). This remote position requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy, strong clinical writing and assessment skills, and experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation. Requirements

  • Completion of a Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required
  • Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
  • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environment
  • Able to adapt to the needs of the members we serve
  • Able to use evidence-based modalities and active listening skills in order to build rapport and progress care
  • Able to remain calm and assess, triage, and document sessions with members who are potentially in crisis or are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation
  • Able to support members with professionalism, empathy, and an awareness of cultural humility

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support (via phone, video, or chat) as needed for members using TalkNow services
  • Act as a primary mental health provider to support members with a person-centered, strengths-based approach
  • Collaborate with members to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments as needed
  • Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR)
  • Adhere to established standards for clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulations

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed or Provisionally LicensedΒ in North Carolina is a plus
