MEP Engineer and Modeler

Summary

Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote MEP Engineer and Modeler to create accurate engineering models for residential and commercial projects. The engineer will collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP components into the overall design. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, minimum 5 years of experience, proficiency in relevant software systems, strong knowledge of MEP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, good communication skills, fluency in English, and being based in Latin America are required. The position offers work from home, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work for exciting US companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP engineering and modeling
• Proficiency in relevant software systems such as Revit MEP and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and design principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, designers, and other engineers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English
• Candidate must be based in Latin America

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of MEP systems using relevant software systems
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure MEP components are integrated effectively into the overall design
• Analyze project requirements and develop detailed engineering plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to final installation
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of MEP deliverables
• Conduct quality checks on MEP models to ensure accuracy and reliability
