Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Meteorology/Atmospheric Science
• Upper-level student (junior/senior/graduate)

Responsibilities

• Learn about the shipping industry
• Learn about marine routing and forecasting
• Learn about internal systems and software
• Learn department standard operating procedures
• Participate/contribute towards daily operational tasks
• Participate/assist in department projects
• Hands-on marine meteorology training
• Participate in marine forecast discussions in team meetings
• Develop problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in private sector meteorology
