Requirements
- Active license in the state of Michigan
- Experience working with children ages 0 - 17
- Certified and / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills and critical analysis
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
- Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting and concurrent documentation
Responsibilities
- Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations
- Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria
- Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
- Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care
- Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, and collaboration with members of clinical team
- Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours
Preferred Qualifications
Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
