MicroStrategy Architect

Summary

The job is for a MicroStrategy Architect who will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. The ideal candidate should have in-depth expertise in MicroStrategy architecture, data modeling, report development, and dashboard design.

Requirements

• Experience in MicroStrategy administration
• Provide technical leadership in the adoption of new features and tools within the MicroStrategy ecosystem
• Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance

Responsibilities

• Architect and design BI solutions using MicroStrategy tools
• Develop, optimize, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Oversee the development of data models and ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Lead performance tuning and system optimization efforts to ensure high availability and fast response times
• Ensure the platform is scalable to meet the organization's growing needs, particularly in high-demand environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Optional: Retail Domain Knowledge: Experience with the retail sector is a strong plus, including the ability to provide insights on customer behavior, product performance, and supply chain metrics
• Experience with integrating MicroStrategy with cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure) and advanced data solutions
• Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Understanding of the latest trends in AI/ML and their integration into BI platforms
• Knowledge of software configuration management environments and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, TFS, Shell, PowerShell, Bitbucket
• Experience with Agile development methods in data-oriented projects
