Remote Mid Level/Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• Experience building microservices with containers, Scala and Reactive
• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in a software development environment
• 2+ years experience mentoring a team of 4-5 engineers
• Experience working with server-side applications
• Excellent coding skills
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS or other cloud solutions
• Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering experience in a production environment
• Experience in security practices and standards
• Experience in a fast paced, agile development environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to work cross-functionally including support and QA

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, guidance and support to a platform team in San Carlos
• Join the team to continue the implementation of many other services and features over the coming years
• Work tightly together with your counterparts overseas
• Institute development best practices and drive the team’s success
