Requirements

  • AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS and networking (VPC, Security Groups, etc.)
  • CI/CD: Experience designing and managing pipelines with GitLab CI/CD
  • Scripting & Programming: Strong Python scripting skills for automation and data-related tasks
  • Airflow: Experience configuring, managing, and scaling Apache Airflow workflows
  • IaC: Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi
  • Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch)

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to streamline development and deployment workflows
  • Automate testing, builds, and deployments for Python-based applications and data workflows
  • Manage Dockerized applications and container orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Manage and optimize workflows and task automation using Apache Airflow
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and QA to enhance system reliability
  • Support Python developers with scalable solutions and debugging assistance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for containerization and orchestration
  • Knowledge of data processing tools and frameworks (e.g. Spark)
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
