Middle Python Engineer

Summary

Join PandaDoc's newly formed team of 5 engineers as a Frontend Engineer and directly impact thousands of users by working on the core of our product. Requirements

• At least 3+ years of development experience with Python
• Care about quality; you know what shipping high-quality code means
• Experience with any relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization)
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience in developing a service-oriented architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitLab)
• English: upper intermediate+ (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components for PandaDoc's document editor
• Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to build and improve the user experience
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the frontend application

Preferred Qualifications

• It is good to have experience with the LGTM stack and OpenTelemetry
• It is good to have open-source contributions and experience
• It is good to have experience with the event sourcing approach
