Middle/Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing digital product engineering company, as a Data Engineer. You will design, build, and configure Apache NiFi integrations to meet business needs, utilizing NiFi to create process solutions and resolve issues. Responsibilities include project activities like estimation, planning, and stakeholder management, as well as managing the virtual workforce and conducting testing. You will also contribute to data migration from legacy CRM systems, support ETL mappings, and design data integration models between Salesforce and other systems. Collaborate with business analysts and program directors to support CRM rollout. This role requires significant experience with Apache NiFi and related technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as Data Engineer or similar role
• Experience in developing and setting-up Apache NiFi and other ETL tools
• Ability to work with relational databases based on SQL
• Knowledge of various data storage techniques: cookies, Local Storage, NoSQL databases
• Good knowledge of HTTP protocol and REST API design principles
• Ability to work with a cloud server from a popular provider: AWS, Azure or Heroku
• Ability to work with the Git version control system
• Familiarity of Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, build and configure creative Apache NiFi integrations to meet the business process needs
• Utilize Apache NiFi to create process solutions and resolve issues that arise in the day to day running of Apache NiFi processes
• Take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management and project quality
• Manage, configure, orchestrate and control the virtual workforce as part of the operational environment
• Carry out unit as well as end-to-end testing alongside quality assurance professionals
• Decide about the Data Migration of the legacy CRM systems
• Support the ETL team for mappings, data flows in the system integrations
• Design and Decide about the data integration models, between Salesforce.com system and other back-end systems
• Work cloth together with Business Analyst and the Program Director to support the CRM roll-out

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong digital mindset and experience from working with Apache NiFi or similar ETL solutions
• A positive and flexible attitude with great collaboration skills
