Middle/Senior Manual QA Engineer

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in manual QA testing
• Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases based on functional specifications
• Report, track, and manage bugs through the defect lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members across time zones
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning/review meetings aligned with the Pacific time zone
• Identify gaps in test coverage and suggest improvements to the QA process
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with remote or distributed teams
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of automation concepts is a bonus (though this is a manual QA role)
