Mid-Level Automation Python Developer

Summary

Join Encora as a Mid Automation Python Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into scalable applications, lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. This remote position is available in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Bolivia. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and extensive software development experience are required, along with strong Python and testing skills. Experience in finance and with low-code platforms is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• Good experience with coding: Python and unit test framework like Unit test / PyTest or similar

Responsibilities

• Translates business requirements into technical requirements
• Clearly documents technical changes and impact
• Thoroughly tests all changes: Creates new test cases based on change requirements and manages test suites and processes for accuracy and comprehensiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with credit, financial services, banking or similar domain
• Prior experience with any low-code decision platform like GDSlink, Provenir or similar tools
