Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret security clearance
• Willingness to attain Top Secret / SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline + 6 years of Java experience
• 10+ years of experience without a degree
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD best practices
• Exposure to Test Automation Frameworks and Test-Driven Development

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack software in Java with a strong focus on object-oriented programming
• Support Agile development cycles by planning and executing efficient software packages
• Collaborate across teams to create functional scenario generation and management capabilities for existing applications and data flows
• Learn space domain awareness (SDA) fundamentals and how code enables mission success
• Work directly with senior developers, engineers, and mission analysts
• Brief program management on technical progress and satellite safety system development
• Thrive in a fast-paced operational environment with shifting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Java Certification or equivalent
• Kubernetes Certification (CKAD or similar)
• Red Hat Linux experience
• Proficiency with GitLab, Maven, Jenkins
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AJAX)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Past work with government or DoD customers
