Mid/Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Mid- to Senior- Backend Engineer at VERO, a SaaS platform that streamlines rental real estate leasing. The role involves designing and building an ecosystem of services, working on various projects including third party integrations, algorithm implementations, open API, automation, and analytics.

Requirements

• Expertise in Javascript / Typescript, NodeJS, Celery, Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB, Docker, and AWS
• Additional expertise in Python-Django, Django REST framework
• 2+ years with Postgres or a similar RDBMS
• 2+ years of API design, development, and testing experience leveraging industry standards
• Demonstrated skill in software architecture in multi-tenant, heterogenous service ecosystems

Preferred Qualifications

• Facility with Agile development ceremonies and processes
• Experience with deploying / managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with industry-standard information security and compliance best practices and certifications (SOC, CCPA, etc.)
• Experience with Django and Django REST frameworks
• Experience with / understanding of United States real estate rental operations and regulations
