Summary

The job is for a Data Analyst at CAPCO Poland, a global technology and business consultancy in the financial services sector. The Data Analyst will work on end-to-end analytics use cases, assist data engineers, build and test models, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Jupyter Notebooks, Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling and designing data assets
  • Strong understanding of Hadoop ecosystems and their applications in data analysis
  • Experience working in both cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-premise setups
  • Hands-on experience in software delivery, with a deep understanding of the development process and lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement data models that align with business needs
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data-driven solutions
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities, with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in managing projects or leading initiatives, particularly in a data-focused environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior analysts

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced data analysis and exploration using Jupyter Notebooks, Python tools, and other relevant technologies to derive actionable insights and support business objectives
  • Utilize extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage, query, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Design and implement data models that effectively capture business requirements and translate them into structured, scalable data assets
  • Work proficiently in both cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure to manage data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytical processes
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives and data solutions
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and proactively address challenges in data analysis, modeling, and software delivery
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment, ensuring that data solutions are delivered on time and meet quality standards
