Summary
Join our team as a Database Administrator for a US-based client specializing in cloud transformations! This full-time, 100% remote position, starting July 7th, 2025, involves working on diverse projects related to data migration, collection, and optimization, primarily using Snowflake. The client values long-term collaboration, offering seamless transitions between projects. The role focuses on data cleansing and script optimization to enhance platform performance. Proficiency in cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS), Python, and SQL is crucial. A flexible schedule (10:00-18:00 CET) is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in database administration and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake)
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and experience with large datasets
- Knowledge of Python (in the context of data processing)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Willingness to work during hours 10:00β18:00 (CET)
- English at a level that allows for fluent communication within the team
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Snowflake environment
- Create, optimize, and automate SQL and Python scripts
- Perform data cleansing, migration, and integration tasks
- Ensure data performance, availability, and security
- Collaborate with DevOps/Data Engineering teams on cloud data solutions
- Participate in the development and implementation of ETL/ELT solutions
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements
- Participate in the design and implementation of new solutions in the Snowflake environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools
- Experience working with dbt, Airflow, or other ETL tools
