Mid/Senior IT Business Analyst

Summary

Join Netcompany-Intrasoft as a Mid/Senior IT Business Analyst and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions for high-profile EU and Public Sector clients. You will facilitate Agile practices, gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into user stories, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams. Responsibilities include configuring systems, supporting sprint activities, identifying process improvements, and maintaining documentation. The role offers remote work from anywhere in Europe. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (master’s and certifications like CBAP/CSPO are a plus)
• 6+ years of experience as a business analyst, ideally on large-scale projects for European institutions or the public sector
• Strong skills in Agile methodologies, business process modeling (BPMN), and tools like ARIS and Camunda
• Proficiency in gathering and translating complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications
• Familiarity with BDD, story mapping, personas, Gherkin syntax, and user testing coordination
• Fluency in English and Portuguese , with strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to complex business environments and a fast learner

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) to support collaboration and efficient delivery
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through stakeholder engagement and workshops
• Translate requirements into prioritized user stories and manage a structured product backlog
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables
• Configure systems based on user needs and coordinate customizations with development teams
• Support sprint planning, reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business goals
• Identify process improvement opportunities and maintain clear documentation for project teams and stakeholders
• Work remotely from anywhere within Europe

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of microservices architecture , RESTful APIs, and asynchronous communication tools such as Apache Kafka is an asset
