Summary
Join Klick Health, a leading life science company, as a Creative Duo (Mid-Weight Art Director + Copywriter) in a remote, freelance capacity. This role involves generating creative concepts for integrated campaigns across various media. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, ensuring brand alignment and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include leading art direction and design, writing compelling copy, supervising junior creatives, and presenting creative rationale. The ideal candidates possess proven experience in concepting and executing creative ideas, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare advertising.
Requirements
- Proven experience concepting and executing bold, smart creative ideas
- Deep understanding of how strategy informs creative execution
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — with each other and with cross-functional teams
- Curiosity and passion for healthcare advertising — and a willingness to learn and grow in this space
- A shared sense of accountability and creative excellence
- A commitment to pushing boundaries while staying within regulatory guardrails
- 3–5 years of experience in an agency or similar creative environment
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant tools
- Familiarity with stock usage rights, print production, and routing processes
- A portfolio that demonstrates high-level creative thinking and polished execution
- 3+ years of experience in advertising or marketing
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Interest in AI tools and a willingness to integrate them into your workflow
Responsibilities
- Generate ideas and create concepts for integrated campaigns (across print, digital, and video)
- Develop creative from the draft stage through to final execution
- Collaborate closely with each other, Creative and Client Service teams, and cross-functional partners to bring strategically aligned, on-brand work to life
- Supervise junior creatives on your projects
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of our creative processes, compliance considerations, and the nuances of regulated healthcare marketing
- Lead art direction and design across digital, print, and broadcast projects
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Drive the visual voice of the work from concept to completion
- Present and explain your creative rationale with clarity and insight
- Supervise junior art team members and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Ensure consistency in design, brand alignment, and regulatory accuracy
- Collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, and copywriters to deliver integrated creative solutions
- Concept and write compelling, strategically sound copy across mediums
- Align messaging with the client’s brand voice, objectives, and compliance needs
- Understand medical/regulatory requirements and verify claims with internal teams
- Present copy and concepts confidently to internal teams and clients
- Supervise junior copywriters and provide mentorship and guidance
- Work efficiently on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing
