ML Engineer Intern, Remote - India (IN)

Summary

Branch is a socially conscious financial services company that uses data science to deliver financial services in emerging markets. They are looking for a Machine Learning Engineering Intern to join their team and contribute to their products and codebase for 4-6 months.

Requirements

• Have some experience building ML applications that are more than just toy projects. Applications that have real users or an open source project would be a great plus
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, ML systems, data storage
• Know your way through various flavors of Unix and commonly used command line utilities
• Proficiency with at least one mainstream language like Python, Ruby, Java, etc
• Entrepreneurial mindset, take initiative to solve problems before they arise, started and/or contributed to projects you’re passionate about
• Great collaborator and communicator, listen to others, speak your mind, ask the right questions
• Excited by the prospect of working in a distributed team and company, working with teammates from all over the world, and learning

Responsibilities

• Build out functionality for existing and new product lines and platforms such as credit, customer success, fraud, etc
• Integrate and work with various third-party systems, including Taktile, credit bureaus, and AWS
