Requirements

• Experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a proven track record of independent project execution
• Direct advisory experience with researchers, with an ability to integrate their insights into practical applications

Responsibilities

• Independently execute on extension projects to the Visible Thoughts Project
• Collaborate with a diverse team, including technical researchers, research advisors, and data collection teams
• Proactively communicate effectively with all levels of staff, articulating complex technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong leadership potential, with an interest or background in team management
• Experience with LLMs, LoRas, and RLHF/DPO, especially on relatively smaller datasets
• Management or mentorship of technical teams in a research environment
