Mobile App Developer - React Native

Summary

Join Future's Apps Team as a Mobile App Developer and contribute to the delivery of a scalable, multi-brand app platform. You will work on both new and existing projects, utilizing the latest technologies and best practices. Collaborate with senior developers and other teams to build new services and products. The role requires expertise in React Native and TypeScript, and experience with data handling, DevOps practices, and various technologies. Requirements

• Have React Native and TypeScript expertise with a track record delivering high-quality iOS and Android apps, including diverse theming and UX considerations (Tamagui, accessibility, etc.)
• Be an effective communicator able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and lead collaborative teams using Git/GitFlow, with peer review best practices
• Have experience with data handling from databases and APIs, with an understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Vector, Graph) and asynchronous architectures (queues, topics, subscriptions, and event sourcing)
• Have experience with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and related tools

Responsibilities

• Develop software components for a scalable, well-structured, efficient “multi-brand” app platform
• Refactor existing code
• Collaborate with other teams to build new services and products
• Work on both green-field projects and maintain and improve legacy systems
• Use the latest libraries and best practice

Preferred Qualifications

Have broader technical proficiency across Swift, Java/Kotlin for native mobile, modern web development, and AI tooling (e.g., Cursor)
