Mobile Health Screening Nurse

Summary

Join Unified Healthcare Group (UHG) as a Mobile Health Screening Consultant and utilize your nursing expertise in a non-clinical setting. This remote contractor role offers flexibility in managing your schedule and workload while working from home. As a consultant, you will conduct in-home and workplace health screenings for the life insurance industry, liaising with stakeholders and updating head office daily through our platform, medEbridge. The role requires a minimum of two years of recent blood collection experience and valid registration with APHRA. Successful candidates will be issued a Consultancy Agreement and must provide necessary documentation. UHG values diversity and offers an inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Be an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with a solid medical and phlebotomy background (minimum 2 years)
• Valid registration with APHRA
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service that coincides with our business values
• Must have or be willing to obtain an ABN
• Required to have personal indemnity and public liability insurance
• Must hold a valid driver's license, car insurance and have a reliable vehicle as the health assessments are completed within a client's home or workplace

Responsibilities

• Meeting with our life insurance applicants in their home or workplace to conduct routine health screening assessments and pathology collection services
• Liaising with stakeholders in regard to stages of the screening process
• Updating head office every 24 hours on the progression of appointment stages via our bespoke platform, medEbridge
• Using our bespoke platform, medEbridge to complete and finalise the bookings and results
