Mobile Platform Engineer

Summary

Join Flipster's Mobile Platform Engineering Team as a Senior Mobile Platform Engineer and contribute to optimizing performance and enhancing the stability of our mobile applications. We focus on delivering a seamless user experience, especially in chart performance. You will analyze and optimize performance, lead projects enhancing charting functionalities, define and implement mobile engineering metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a global remote position requiring 7+ years of iOS development experience and strong proficiency in Swift. The ideal candidate will have experience with SwiftUI and full-stack development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift and related iOS development technologies
• Proven track record in mobile performance optimization and stability improvements
• Experience leading end-to-end development of features and applications based on complex business requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple teams to solve problems

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize performance and platform requirements on the client side
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing the performance of charting functionalities, a critical component of our trading platform
• Define and implement mobile engineering metrics to inform decision-making and problem resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and establish best practices
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SwiftUI development
• Full-stack development experience (iOS + Android, Web, or Backend)
• Prior experience working on a Mobile Platform Team, leveraging deep knowledge of mobile tech stacks
• Passion for learning and adopting new technologies
• Professional working proficiency in Korean (written and spoken)
