Summary

Join our team as a Modeling based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Journeyman to collaborate with a team in the research, creation, modeling, and analysis of military systems. The candidate will be proficient in MBSE and apply systems engineering techniques to construct digital content for National Guard programs.

Requirements

  • Required clearance: Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience with MBSE and M&S tools and techniques such as Cameo/NoMagic
  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience aligning models to JADC2
  • Requires the following education/experience: Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, technical, business, or computer science/IT discipline and 14 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, and mission analysis techniques and tools to include transforming legacy document-based models to a MBSE environment
  • Experienced at self-starting, seeking solutions, and works well in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering V
  • Demonstrated ability to develop system behavior, structure, data, and requirements models employing Cameo/NoMagic applications in a team environment
  • Experience with the practical application of Unified Modeling Language (UML) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
  • Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development
  • Proficient in the use and operation of the C2 and simulation systems
  • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills

Responsibilities

  • Elicit and capture stakeholder needs in models
  • Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents
  • Provide MBSE/Systems Modeling Language (SysML) expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team
  • Understand conventional systems engineering processes and the ability to create technological model-centric methods and tools to meet system design in an automated, accurate and cost-effective manner
  • Work collaboratively in a digital engineering environment, integrating data from across systems engineering disciplines into a cohesive system model
  • Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering software
