Money Transfer Operations Associate

Summary

This position supports the daily operations of the Money Transfer business, working alongside the Money Operation Manager to monitor transactions, handle escalations, coordinate with various teams, identify areas for improvement, and provide monthly reports. The company is IDT, a US Communications and Money Transfer company headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.

Requirements

• Excellent oral, and written skills required in English & Spanish
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs & Sheets
• Strong team player and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to be available after hours on weekdays, weekends & holidays in case of critical production issues or outages

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the Money Transfer business
• Work alongside the Money Operation Manager to monitor transaction activity and take action on escalations from Guatemala Operations and Customer Care teams
• Provide day-to-day escalation support to Guatemala customer service
• Daily reviews with the Guatemala Operational support team
• Partner with Payer Support teams to ensure new Payer turnups are set up and tested completely
• Coordinate with marketing to ensure operational readiness of promotions or changes to product offerings or pricing
• Identify areas to improve the operational support interfaces and processes for Money Transfer and Bill Pay
• Provide monthly reporting on Money Transfer transactional data to identify trends and areas of concern or improvement

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data reporting tools is a plus
