Summary

Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as a Sales Representative and be at the forefront of innovation in the mortgage industry. You will work closely with residential mortgage brokers to introduce and sell our groundbreaking no-documentation loan program. Responsibilities include outreach, education, and relationship building, guiding brokers through our self-service platform. This role requires excellent communication skills, sales experience, and proficiency with CRM tools. The position offers a base salary plus commissions and is a full-time, contractor/consultancy role with PTO available. WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce, generally working 9:00 am-6:00 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields
  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • Advanced, near-native level of verbal and written English is required
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable using self-service platforms and CRM tools to track and manage sales activity

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to Residential Mortgage Brokers to sell our product and walk them through our self-service website
  • Identify and connect with potential brokers and borrowers
  • Utilize CRM tools (QuickBase and HubSpot), email, inbound and outbound calls to generate qualified leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
  • Act as the main point of contact throughout the loan process
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
  • Educate clients on Thunderbird’s loan products (No Doc and Limited Doc programs)
  • Structure deals based on property type, collateral, LTV, and client profile
  • Collect and review loan documentation from clients or brokers
  • Prepare files for the processing department by ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate
  • Track performance metrics (volume, submissions, closes) via CRM
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on market expansion and vertical opportunities
  • Follow up promptly with all inquiries, document requests, and loan updates
  • Stay informed about lending guidelines, industry changes, and market trends
  • Understand competitors’ offerings to position Thunderbird’s products effectively
  • Participate in training sessions and product updates regularly
  • Other duties and special projects assigned by senior management

Preferred Qualifications

Previous sales experience in the US is strongly desired
