Requirements

• Proven experience in motion capture animation for video games, films, or other interactive media
• A solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and human/creature movement
• Understanding of game production pipelines and performance capture integration
• Previous experience in keyframe animation, with an eye for weight, timing, and natural motion
• Proficient in English (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Manipulating and adjusting complex mocap animation data
• Retarget motion capture data to game assets using high end workflow
• Perform clean up to existing motion capture data, and apply motion data to 3D character models using Maya/Mobu
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mocap data, including misalignments, errors, and other technical problems
• Maintain consistent animation quality and style throughout the production process

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real-time animation tools or game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity)
