Summary

Join Fundraise Up as a Multimedia Creator/Editor and be part of a team reimagining the fundraising platform. This remote role, based in North America (EST and CST), focuses on video production and editing, with future expansion into podcast production. You will plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, manage the entire production process, and collaborate with internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong creative vision, technical expertise, and storytelling abilities. This position offers a competitive salary ($80,000-$90,000 base, $90,000-$100,000 OTE), stock options, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in video production and editing
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating video production and editing skills
  • Excellent storytelling abilities and creative vision
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of video production equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio recording tools

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms including social media, website, and marketing campaigns
  • Manage the entire production process from conceptualization to final delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content
  • Edit audio for video projects, ensuring high-quality sound production
  • Develop and implement podcast production workflows as the company expands into audio content
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in multimedia production
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries and project files
  • Meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Provide creative input and suggestions to improve content quality and engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with podcast production and audio editing
  • Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, ProTools)
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization for digital platforms
  • Experience creating content for diverse platforms and formats
