Navy Erp Subject Matter Expert

Summary

Join our team to support the Bureau of Navy Personnel (BUPERS) Command Support Team (CST) with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) post-migration sustainment. You will leverage your experience with financial modules and processes in Navy ERP to support invoice processing, year-end close, and other financial operations. Responsibilities include providing end-user support, developing learning materials, coordinating business processes, and collaborating with internal and client teams. A minimum of 5 years of Navy ERP experience and a four-year degree are required, or equivalent experience. The position offers remote work in Arlington, VA, and requires a Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with successful management of project tasks and coordination of activities in projects of similar size and scope
• 5+ years of Navy ERP experience or combination of NERP (SAP) other ERP Financial management systems
• Navy ERP experience is required
• Four (4) year degree from an accredited institution
• Secret Clearance Required

Responsibilities

• Provide End User Support to the BUPERS Command through Help Desk tickets and Office Hours
• Provide verbal and written status updates on trending issues to stakeholders and provide recommendations for solutions
• Coordinate/Develop learning aid materials with functional teams (ERP manuals and handbooks)
• Coordinate Business Process Management
• Coordinate functional and technical support
• Support financial operations and audit
• Collaborate with both internal and client teams to support command wide system updates & issue remediation
• Provide Cross Functional Training to other Finance/Procurement team members
• Support with the following processes: Invoice Processing, Year End Close, Vendor Payment, Funds Allocation, DDEF, Labor, Billing, Credit Memos, and Sales Orders
• Ensure high-quality deliverables, as well as timely coordination and professional communication with the client daily

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from at least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation
• 5+ years of combination of experience with data cleansing, legacy system modernization, and enterprise application implementation support
• Experience in FM/FI/CO/SD ERP modules
