.Net Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software systems and applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate business needs into technical requirements, and participate in the full software development lifecycle. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, fully remote, focusing primarily on backend development using C# and Azure Cloud (AWS experience is also acceptable). Healthcare industry experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information technology or a related computer degree or equivalent experience
• Solid software development-related experience in an Agile development environment and a strong understanding of the SDLC
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to successfully assist with complex project deliverables in a very driven and changing organization
• Demonstrated ownership of assigned tasks and dedication and perseverance to get the job done
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing needs
• Confidence and ability to work independently
• Exceptional client service orientation
• Attention to detail
• Collaborative team player with the ability to multi-task in a virtual and matrixed team-based environment
• .NET / C# / VS Code
• HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Architecture and application design experience relating to MVC, SOLID or domain-driven design patterns
• Azure and/or AWS Cloud Services
• Web API experience
• MSSQL / Azure SQL experience

Responsibilities

• Design new and existing software systems and applications
• Develop new and existing software systems and applications
• Document new and existing software systems and applications
• Test new and existing software systems and applications
• Debug new and existing software systems and applications
• Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and design
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Possess functional knowledge of all layers of computer software development
• Work 70-80% backend/database, 20-30% frontend/pipelines/automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Front-end development using Svelte or other modern JavaScript frameworks
• Cypress for UI, API testing
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or comparable
• Experience with static analysis tools like GitHub Advanced Security
• Understanding of DevOps methodology and/or CI/CD pipeline process using GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with containerization
• Familiarity with Auth0 and/or SSO methodologies
