Summary

Join Mindgrub Technologies, an award-winning digital agency, as a mid-level .NET engineer. You will design, develop, and implement software solutions using .NET Core and related technologies. This role demands strong .NET development skills and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining efficient code; collaborating with various teams; participating in agile ceremonies; and implementing best practices. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, along with 5+ years of .NET development experience, is required. The position is remote, with a 40-hour work week and a 3-month contract with potential for extension. Compensation is $65/hour USD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks
  • Deep understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including libraries and tools for building web-based applications
  • Proficiency with relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including experience with database design and optimization
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools, particularly Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .NET code, with an emphasis on performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative features and solutions
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team
  • Implement and maintain best practices in code organization, testing, and deployment to ensure a maintainable codebase
  • Document technical designs, processes, and system requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Blazor is a plus

Benefits

  • Remote; 40 hrs / wk, 9am - 5pm EST; some overlap with Eastern Standard Time required
  • $65.00 per hour USD
