NetSuite SME (Revenue Accounting & Advanced Revenue Management)

Summary

Join Brillio as a NetSuite SME (Revenue Accounting & Advanced Revenue Management) and contribute to optimizing financial processes within NetSuite. This remote role requires a strong background in Revenue Accounting, General Ledger (GL), Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and Standalone Selling Price (SSP) automation. You will act as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) and Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards, optimizing NetSuite ARM for automated revenue recognition, and collaborating with finance and IT teams to streamline GL processes and financial reporting. This position demands deep functional expertise in financial modules and best practices for revenue recognition and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite, focusing on Revenue Accounting, GL, and ARM
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles
• Experience with SSP automation and revenue allocation methodologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Act as a NetSuite SME for revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards
• Optimize and configure NetSuite ARM for automated revenue recognition and SSP compliance
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to streamline General Ledger (GL) processes and financial reporting
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for revenue management enhancements
• Provide expertise in NetSuite integrations related to revenue recognition and financial reporting
• Support testing, training, and go-live activities for system enhancements
• Troubleshoot system issues and work with NetSuite support or implementation partners to resolve them
• Develop and maintain process documentation and user training materials

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business models is a plus
