Remote Network Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Network Engineer or Lead Network Engineer for a duration of 3-12 months in a remote work setup. Assist/lead the network team in IP usage analysis, configuration, and documentation of Enterprise Networks.

Requirements

• Experience with design, configure, and document Enterprise Network
• Well knowledge of Network devices (such as Router, Switch, Firewall, Load-balancer, Proxy) and DDI System (DHCP, DNS, IPAM)
• Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
• Familiar with IP network subnetting
• 3+ years of experience with configuring router and switch
• Know how to use Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work with team

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead network engineer on IP usage analysis by collecting source data
• Collect source data which includes routing table, IPAM, DHCP, configuration of router and switch, ARP entries, DNS records
• Run initial data process such as sorting the data, removing duplicated entries using Microsoft Excel
• Review the configuration of network devices and related hosts in identified networks to come up a change plan for freeing up IP address

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with using VBA script (or other scripting language) to process data and generate Excel report
• Technical leadership experience
• Knowledge of H3C router and Juniper router a plus
