Network Engineer-Labeling & Structuring Data for Autonomous Systems

Meter
Summary
Join Meter, a company building vertically integrated networking systems, and contribute to the development of autonomous infrastructure. As a Network Engineer with a Data Focus, you will play a hands-on role, combining your network expertise with data science to label, annotate, and structure data from deployed networks. This 3-6 month contract position in the Bay Area offers an hourly rate of $50-$100, depending on experience. You will review real-world data (logs, configs, telemetry, event streams), classify key behaviors and anomalies, and help define schemas for large-scale data pipelines. Your work directly impacts Meter's AI models and shapes how intelligent systems understand networks. This is an excellent opportunity for network engineers interested in data science and autonomous networking.
