Network Sme/Network Architect

Summary

Join our team as a Network SME/N/W Architect in Colombia for a contract position with a pay rate of $29 USD/hour. This remote role involves partnering with data science and AI researchers. You will hand-write diagnostic steps and solutions, utilize regular expressions, and validate AI model outputs. Your expertise in network troubleshooting and command-line interface diagnostics will be crucial. You will also document recommended actions and impact statements. This role requires strong skills in Cisco technologies and Python scripting, along with experience in network troubleshooting and documentation.

Requirements

• Possess intermediate to expert level knowledge of Cisco routing and switching products and solutions, focusing on campus and enterprise networks
• Have intermediate to expert level experience troubleshooting network issues
• Possess intermediate to expert level knowledge of Cisco command line interface and diagnosing network problems using “show” commands
• Have intermediate knowledge and familiarity of the types of information available in command line interface “show” commands
• Have intermediate level experience working with and creating regular expressions (regex) and the ability to visually interpret and validate search patterns against text
• Have intermediate level experience performing software recommendations, evaluating software defects, or troubleshooting network problems where a defect may cause an issue
• Have intermediate to expert level experience in documenting methods of action and recommendations for network problems and being able to assess the impact that a change could have in a network
• Have intermediate level of proficiency in Python, and the ability to interpret and write Python code. Interaction with 3rd party APIs and resources through REST
• Possess beginner to intermediate knowledge of automation frameworks, such as Ansible and Terraform

Responsibilities

• Partner with data science and artificial intelligence researchers to hand-write diagnostic steps and solutions
• Use regular expression (regex) patterns to collect data required to confirm vulnerability of software defects and security vulnerabilities
• Validate outputs produced by AI models using knowledge of network troubleshooting and command line interface diagnostic commands
• Provide write-ups for recommended actions and impact statements associated with problem statements
