Networking Engineer

Summary

Join NeXt I.T. as a Network Support Specialist providing third-level support to clients. You will handle escalated service requests remotely, develop solutions for complex networking issues, and analyze systems to recommend improvements. Responsibilities include designing system configurations, maximizing network performance, securing network systems, and staying updated on industry knowledge. This role requires extensive networking experience, Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE), and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. A criminal background check and valid driver's license are required.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of recent networking experience
• One or more of the following certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
• Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems
• Knowledge of current Cisco and Microsoft Networking Systems
• Knowledge of phone and VoIP systems
• Advanced knowledge of system hardware
• Advanced knowledge with network troubleshooting
• Professional customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work in an environment that offers 24x7x365 support
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
• Valid drivers license
