Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter

Summary

Join our team as a detail-oriented Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter! You will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and approving or denying loan applications that don't meet traditional Qualified Mortgage (QM) guidelines, focusing on DSCR and Bank Statement loans. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience with Non-QM lending. You'll need proficiency in Encompass and excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently and manage a large loan pipeline is essential. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in underwriting DSCR and Bank Statement loans.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience underwriting DSCR and Bank Statement loans
• Strong knowledge of common investors in the Non-QM space
• Proficient in Encompass
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a large pipeline of loans

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications that fall outside of the traditional Qualified Mortgage (QM) guidelines, specifically DSCR and Bank Statement loans
• Evaluate loan applications
• Approve or deny loan applications
