Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in primary care or a similar setting
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience in healthcare
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, particularly Athena
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring safe, evidence-based care delivery
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise nursing and lead medical assistant staff
  • Work closely with the Quality Nurse and Clinical Services Manager to monitor and maintain adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Lead the implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance member satisfaction
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to design and implement population health programs that meet the needs of target populations
  • Manage the allocation and utilization of clinical resources, ensuring optimal use
  • Facilitate clear communication between clinical teams, administrative staff, and members
  • Address member concerns and complaints and work with healthcare professionals to optimize member care
  • Stay informed on healthcare regulations and ensure staff are trained and prepared for emergencies, maintaining compliance across all operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field
  • Advanced nursing certifications (e.g., Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist)
  • Experience leading population health programs or quality improvement initiatives
