Summary
The job is for a Virtual Nurse Practitioner at Amaze Health who will provide remote patient care consultations. The role requires 3+ years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine as an APP, 2+ years in internal medicine, primary or family care medicine as an APP, and bilingual proficiency in Korean and English. The candidate must live in one of the specified states and hold an active unrestrictive license.
Requirements
- Minimal of three (3) years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine as an APP
- Two (2) years experience in internal medicine, primary or family care medicine as an APP
- Solid understanding of chronic disease management (CCM) to include diabetes, hypertension, asthma, hypothyroidism, etc
- Must hold an active unrestrictive license
- NPs must have an active compact RN license
- Ability to provide compassionate care and establish patient rapport
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies to include lab work, images, and patient medical records and diagnostics and their interpretation
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
- Respect for patientβs confidentiality and desires for their own healthcare
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must live in one of the following states to be eligible for consideration: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, or Texas
Responsibilities
- Ask intuitive questions to discover cause(s) of illness, injury or medical issue
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patientβs medical history, exam, and testing
- Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information
- Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
- Collaborate with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and extended team to form a high performing medical team
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients
- Be willing to adapt and overcome issues as they arise for the betterment of patients
