Summary

Join Kyo, a leading provider of ABA therapy, as a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner! This fully remote position requires administering TB Risk Assessments to newly hired clinicians in California. You will collaborate with the HR and Talent team, ensuring a positive onboarding experience. The role is part-time (approximately 4 hours/week initially) with a competitive hourly rate ($60-65/hr). Responsibilities include conducting assessments, guiding clinicians on next steps, and communicating assessment statuses to HR. This opportunity offers flexibility, but requires weekday availability during specified time slots.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required
  • Must be registered as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of CA and have an active license in good standing
  • PC or Mac proficiency in productivity software such as G Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Must be comfortable with electronic documentation
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexibility in schedule but must be available on weekdays for 1-2 hours/week between 3pm-7pm PST and 2-3 hours/week between 9am-3pm PST (some weekend shifts may also be an option)
  • Must be able to sit or stand and use a computer for a few hours at a time
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as employee handbooks, training materials and procedure manuals, through computer, electronic devices, and paper means
  • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic/mobile device functions
  • Must be able to give and receive detailed information that is verbally communicated
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive experience for newly hired clinicians during the allotted time frame to administer TB Risk Assessments
  • Provide guidance regarding next steps (TB Test or Chest X-ray) to newly hired clinicians if they do not pass the TB Risk Assessment
  • Communicate the status of newly hired clinicians’ to HR after the administration of each TB Risk Assessment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Occupational Health preferred
