Summary

Join FitOn as a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to conduct patient evaluations and review clinical documentation for our weight loss and musculoskeletal care programs. You will develop individualized care plans, identify areas for improvement in patient care, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance program performance. This remote position requires a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, preferably in primary care or a related field. You will need an active, unrestricted US NP license and experience in chart review and quality assurance. Competitive per-visit pay and flexible scheduling are offered. Multi-state licensure or NLC membership is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (U.S.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, or musculoskeletal/orthopedic setting
  • Experience in chart review, quality assurance, clinical documentation improvement, and developing comprehensive care plans with coordination across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to clinical documentation and care protocols
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, with proficiency in navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in depth evaluations via telehealth, to assess weight management needs, musculoskeletal conditions, and overall clinical status
  • Develop and complete individualized care plans based on patient evaluations, ensuring they are evidence-based, goal oriented, and aligned with program standards
  • Review patient charts and medical records to ensure documentation accurately reflects clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement in clinical documentation and patient care pathways
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive quality assurance efforts, enhance program performance, and improve patient outcomes
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Actively participate in clinical and operational initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and program performance
  • Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and program specific updates to maintain the highest standard of patient care

Preferred Qualifications

Multi-state licensure or membership in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is highly desirable
