Summary
Join Oscar Medical Group's Virtual Health Assessment team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant! This remote role involves conducting virtual health assessments, reviewing patient medical history, and providing diagnoses and treatment. You'll cross-train in urgent care and virtual primary care, supporting various teams within Oscar Medical Group. The position requires a DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA degree from an accredited program, board certification, and 3+ years of experience in relevant fields. Licensure in specific states is mandatory, with the possibility of obtaining additional licenses. Competitive base pay, comprehensive benefits, and performance bonuses are offered.
Requirements
- DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
- Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
- Compact RN license (only applicable to NP)
- Licensed in Florida, Georgia Texas and/or Ohio (must have an active licenses in at least 2 of these states)
- Ability to obtain licensure in additional states
- 3+ years experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual health assessment where the provider reviews the member’s current medical diagnosis, medications, preventative screening and overall health history
- Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service line
- Interact with members virtually, including virtual assessment, diagnosis and treatment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures
- Fluent in Spanish
- 1+ year Telemedicine experience
- Additionally Licensed in: New York, Oklahoma, Connecticut, North Carolina, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Nebraska, Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, and/or California
