Responsibilities include client acquisition, candidate sourcing, assessment, client liaison, market understanding, interview coordination, relationship management, and reporting. This independent contractor position offers high commissions and the flexibility to manage your own time. You will receive support from the Substance team and utilize our tools and systems. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably within Oman
• Business development skills and resilient towards rejections
• Resourceful and data driven
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills, with the ability to identify top talent
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools, such as ATS systems
• Deep understanding of the Omani recruitment landscape, labor laws, and market dynamics
• Familiarity with various industries and job roles prevalent in Oman
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teams
• A passion for talent acquisition and helping candidates find their ideal roles

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through various channels
• Identify and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and local networking opportunities
• Conduct thorough assessments of candidates’ qualifications and experience to ensure a high standard of placements
• Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and present suitable candidates quickly and effectively
• Stay updated on the local job market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability in Oman
• Schedule and prepare candidates for interviews with clients, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients, ensuring a rewarding experience for both parties
• Provide regular updates to the Substance team on recruitment progress, challenges, and market insights

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as an agency recruiter, independent recruiter or working with remote teams
