Remote Online Coach for Adults with Disabilities

Summary

Daivergent is a technology startup that offers virtual employment, life, and social skills training for adults with disabilities. As an Online Coach, you will teach job skills, support life skills development, and improve communication and social aptitude through video conferencing.

Requirements

• BA in Psychology, Human Services, Special Education, Teaching, Disability, or any other related field OR high school diploma with 5+ years of work experience helping adults with disabilities
• Minimum of 2 years of recruitment or project management experience, providing direct services to an individual with disability, or teaching, coaching, or tutoring experience
• Availability between specified hours (ET) for client support
• At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support to adolescents and adults with disabilities, collaborate with clients to develop learning plans, use Daivergent tools and resources, and have knowledge of a wide range of careers and job-seeking strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to improvise, patience, creativity, good energy, outgoing personality, strong positivity, and ability to foster a non-judgmental environment, readiness to embrace a 'startup mindset', and some tech-savviness
