Summary

Join Swinburne Online as an Online Learning Adviser (OLA) and make a positive impact on student learning. Successful candidates will hold a Master of Teaching (Primary or Secondary), have at least 6 years of relevant teaching experience, and be registered with VIT. Requirements

  • Hold a minimum Masters of Teaching Primary or Secondary
  • Have a minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience - teaching across primary & secondary
  • Registered with VIT

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team
  • Facilitate learning activities that engage and support student learning
  • Undertake assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mentoring and placements is desired
  • You are motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
  • You are a passionate and clear communicator
  • You have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence
  • You are proactive and organised
  • You thrive in a remote working environment
