Requirements

  • You will hold a BPS accredited degree in Psychology (or equivalent) and a demonstrable track record in research or other scholarly activity in a field relevant to the modules you will be delivering
  • A PhD either in progress or near completion as a minimum
  • You will have experience in teaching and assessing at degree level
  • You have high standards and with demonstrable impact on students’ learning
  • You are motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
  • You are a passionate and excellent, clear communicator
  • You have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence
  • You are proactive and organised
  • You thrive in a remote working environment

Responsibilities

  • Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team
  • Facilitating activities that engage and support student learning
  • Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of using Virtual Learning Environments as learning tools
  • Experience of teaching and assessing online programmes
  • Be at least a fellow of Advance HE
  • Experience using Qualtrics or Pavlovia
